Maya Sniadecky — young horse and dressage horse training
Since Maya received her Bereiter's license in 1986, she has prepared well in excess of 100 young warmbloods for their riding careers. Many went on to serious dressage careers, others became event horses, or hunters, driving horses or beloved pets. Each was started with the same care and was given the same chance to grow in confidence and thrive in work. At right is a three year old Hanoverian mare on one of her first rides off the longe line.
Maya is exceptionally skilled in starting youngters, but is equally skilled at taking a dressage horse further in its career. She has successfully shown her own and clients' horses through Fourth level and is currently working towards Prix St. Georges with her mare Flirt. She has successfully shown youngsters in the FEI Young Horse classes, as well.
At left Maya is shown on one of her horses that has since been sold, Frisco. For details about Maya's training program please see the the training FAQ section.
Maya's training is correct, thorough and based on kindness and fairness to the animal. I have seen he make lazy horses eager, worried horses confident. To me she has a magic touch.
